In 2016, Fibria sold approximately 478,000 tons of Klabin pulp with the Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC ®) certification. The contract, signed for a four-year period and unprecedented in the Brazilian forestry industry, can be considered an excellent example of companies with common goals for value creation.
On the one hand, we guarantee the commercial strategy, with a solid customer base and high performance in logistics. On the other, Klabin transports its pulp on ships at a competitive price, which corresponds to Fibria's global return.
The expectation for 2017 is to sell Klabin's 900,000 tons of pulp in the market.
