Nurseries

Fibria has three own nurseries - in Capão Bonito (São Paulo state), Aracruz (Espírito Santo state), and Helvécia (Bahia state) -, and one through a free-lease agreement, located in Três Lagoas (Mato Grosso do Sul state), totaling an annual production capacity of 86 million eucalyptus seedlings.

Of the four nurseries, the one in Três Lagoas, cannot meet the new demand resulting from the expansion of the mill. In 2017, Fibria will inaugurate an automated nursery at the site, a pioneer initiative in the forestry industry.

Own Nurseries

Capão Bonito

Inaugurated in 1995, it supplies the demand for seedlings for silviculture in Jacareí, São Paulo, with annual production capacity of 14 million seedlings.

Aracruz

Renovated in 2006, Fibria's oldest nursery supplies the Aracruz unit. Has annual production capacity for 30 million seedlings.

Helvécia

Inaugurated in 2014, it is currently the company's most modern unit, with an annual production capacity of 30 million seedlings. The proposal for this nursery is to train and integrate local labor in order to assist the families of this region in Bahia.

Três Lagoas

Serves the unit through a free-lease agreement and has an annual production capacity of 12 million seedlings.
