Strategy

Planted forests are at the heart of Fibria's strategy. Based on this concept, the company analyzed global and industry megatrends, strengths and difficulties of the business and market opportunities to develop its growth plan for 2025.

The work, which initiated in 2009, took into account the use of paper, the most sophisticated technology platforms available, the aging population, rural exodus, and climate change. This study led to the definition of the strategic pillars that underpin our strategy.

Our goal is to achieve greater operational efficiency at the lowest possible cost, in a solid and organized forest base, to meet the demand for creating new businesses and innovation projects that allow Fibria to excel beyond the segment of commodities.
